HiltiWpg
Trying out the Makita torsion impact bits. Got the longest ones (4 3/8"). The aren't much more than the el-cheapo bits the wholesaler has on the counter.I tried the Irwin version and wasn't impressed. These appear to fit significantly better.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My father in law had the Firestorm drill with the removable chuck. I'll use it when I need to charge up expansion/pressure tanks and when doing plumbing inspections to pump up test balls, like these: Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk I know this is old post. But, Will that little ryobi air inflater do expansion tanks? What about small runs of gas piping? Whats the run time like?

What about small runs of gas piping? Whats the run time like? It will work on expansion tanks for smaller heating systems, the only type I use is the bladder style. And only for adding some pressure back into the bladder at that, not filling the entire bladder. I have done short runs of gas pipe to test at 90psi. With no power around, it was great. But it's a small battery in it and it will probably fill up a car tire and that's about it on that battery. With bigger battery I think the only thing you have to worry about is heat build up. But mainly use for these test balls ..

ChrisK
Pretty productive week in the tow department myself. I bought a Dewalt Flexvolt saw from @SevenOddosFence (thanks Phil!). My hand turned screwdriver from Blue Spruce Tools came in and this weekend will more likely than not have a Jet or Rikon 1.5 or 2.0hp DC unit appear in my shop.
Stercorarius
Stole this saw from a forum member for a great price. I've never used a bandsaw. I love it. DeWalt brushless 5" is in the future unless we get a big brushless metabo available.
