Got this Friday.  Seems much nicer than my old 18 volt Black and Decker Firestorm

Lol ya think!?? My father in law had the Firestorm drill with the removable chuck. I have no doubt he let the batteries die beyond hope and that what led to their early demise

Mine had that removable chuck also.  I was surprised those batteries held on for about 9 years.

Forgot about this from the other day:

.

I'll use it when I need to charge up expansion/pressure tanks and when doing plumbing inspections to pump up test balls, like these:

I know this is old post.

But, Will that little ryobi air inflater do expansion tanks?

What about small runs of gas piping?

Whats the run time like?

It will work on expansion tanks for smaller heating systems, the only type I use is the bladder style. And only for adding some pressure back into the bladder at that, not filling the entire bladder.

I have done short runs of gas pipe to test at 90psi. With no power around, it was great. But it's a small battery in it and it will probably fill up a car tire and that's about it on that battery. With bigger battery I think the only thing you have to worry about is heat build up.

But mainly use for these test balls
